There are many ways you can help us help meet the immediate and long-term needs of the people we support.
We help people experiencing homelessness in our communities every day. Because we are primarily funded by donors, we would not be able to help the people we do without your generosity.
When you donate to MMHS, you help us provide our guests with necessities like clothing, food, and a bed to sleep in.
Your support is crucial to the work we do. Thank you.
We accept cash, checks and credit cards. We also take donations brought straight to our building. When bringing donations, please check them in at the front desk so we can thank you! Keep scrolling to see our specific donation needs and the various ways you can donate.
When mailing a check, please address your donation to:

Thank you for your generosity!
Since 1990, the Mid-Maine Homeless Shelter has been able to provide emergency shelter and homeless prevention services, largely due to the generous amount of in-kind donations the community provides. Because of the kindness and generosity of the community, most of our financial resources can be put towards operating costs.
